Let me tell you the exact, barely believable reason this design had to be put on a phone case.
It was 3 AM on a Tuesday. I was standing on my porch in the freezing cold, wearing a giant, absurdly fluffy, GIANT STUFFED ANIMAL rabbit that I had cut the back out of and cleaned out the stuffing , this is three weeks prior during a minor manic episode.
Underneath the onesie? I am fully covered in tattoos. I look like a menace. But on the outside, I am a giant, soft, pastel rabbit waiting for a delivery driver to drop off $40 worth of terrible late-night diner food. 🍟🐇
The driver pulls up. He's cute. Tragically cute.
I try to lean against the porch railing to look casual—to somehow project "mysterious tattooed artist" through the medium of a fleece bunny suit. I go to smoothly pull my phone out of the oversized pocket to tip him.
Instead, my thumb catches on the zipper. The phone launches out of my hand like it was fired from a cannon. It does three perfect flips in the air and lands face-down on the concrete stairs with a sickening, violent CRUNCH. 💥📱
The driver stares at me. I stare at the phone.
And guys, I didn't play it cool. I didn't laugh it off. I immediately burst into actual, hysterical tears. 😭
I’m a grown, heavily tattooed woman. I’ve survived heartbreaks, wild nights, and horrible decisions. But in that exact moment, staring at my shattered screen, the facade fully crumbled. I realized I am just a hardcore little skeleton trapped in a soft, idiotic bunny suit, and I am, in fact, absolutely Fragile By Nature. 💀💔
